Rainforest Queensland

The Daintree is the world’s oldest rainforest at over 135 million years old and contains an almost complete record of the evolution of plant life on earth.

Rainforest Rescue plants over 250 different species of rainforest trees to create a diverse rainforest ecosystem for the many species of plants and animals that exist in the rainforest. Some of the planted  trees will grow up to a massive 40 metres!

Having planted over 70,000 trees,  contribution in funding rainforest tree seedlings will also reduce global warming. Each rainforest tree planted will absorb around one tonne of carbon in its lifetime.

We want to help threatened species and restore the 75% of Australian rainforest that has been destroyed.

Traveltime Pacific has committed to ‘adopt’ one rainforest tree per traveller to restore Daintree rainforest forever!

This is a wonderful opportunity to invite clients to the ‘Traveltime Pacific “adopt and plant a tree” region which is the beautiful Daintree Rainforest.

Rainforest Rescue propagates up to 20,000 local rainforest tree species annually in our Daintree . Community Nurser and Manager Joe who will take you through the property and highlight all the unique flora and fauna habitat and connectivity for the endangered Southern Cassowary and Bennett’s Tree Kangaroo.

Daintree is a globally significant biodiversity hotspot.

The Daintree Rainforest Rescue plant-a -TREE project is internationally recognised as an inspirational preservation and an incredible important area of Northern Queensland which through the support of individuals and business partners can be sustained.

We feel it is our responsibility to protect the environment for our future generations by securing precious rainforest in our backyard.
